We welcome new members with a programing and data analysis experiences, excellent communication skills and interests in the environment and population health.
Prospective postdoctoral fellows can inquire with their CV and a description of research interests beyond their current projects. We are particularly interested in individuals with experiences in Bayesian nonparametrics, latent class modeling, survival analysis, high-dimensional and functional data analysis, neurologic conditions, metabolic diseases, social determinants of health and software development.
Prospective doctoral trainees should consider either the PhD program in Biostatistics or in Environmental Health Sciences. Those interested in the EHS PhD program are encouraged to inquire about research fit and funding opportunities beforehand; this is not necessary for the BIOS PhD program.
Current masters students interested in carrying out individual research projects are encouraged to inquire as early as possible (preferably in the Spring semester in Year 1). We typically can only accommodate 3-4 thesis/capstone/ILE projects at any time.
Current doctoral students are welcome to conduct a formal or informal research rotation with our group. This usually entails a data analysis or data simulation project that can be completed in a semester.
